I have three sisters, two nieces and two nephews, and three great nieces and two great nephews. I feel old when I talk about them. They are absolutely the sweetest people. I also have two grand dogs, Sam and Yadi. We used to have two dogs, Shadow and Cookie, but they both passed over the rainbow bridge. I miss them so very much.
I work at a high school, and sometimes find my job so boring it brings me to tears. I enjoy seeing students everyday, and honestly I really appreciate my kids after seeing what a lot of families have to go through. My hobbies are scrapbooking, sewing, photography, and playing music. I would like to excel at all of these hobbies, but even though I have lots of room for improvement, I still enjoy doing them.
My husband and I met when I was on a Florida vacation with a friend. His parents thought I kidnapped him and was a serial killer. I find that extremely disturbing, but they finally realized that I brought no harm to their son. We were married on a hot July day, and have managed to return to Florida several times in the past years, but oddly never to the same place we met.
I am a Christian, and know that Jesus is my Savior. He is the one who has given me all my blessings in life, and I am thankful to Him for that. I have to credit my parents with teaching me about Jesus, and I'm glad I have had the opportunity to tell my own children about Him. My father is in heaven, and my mother lives with my older sister. I had two aunts that I loved dearly. They left us all too soon, but I know we will meet up again some day. That will be joyous day.
